Sable Gothic is a high-contrast display typeface, loosely based on the proportions of Frederic Goudy’s Times Gothic (1916). The aim was to create an elevated, refined typeface. This is the first cut and includes some unique looped character alternates. The gallery exhibition was part of an experimental type show, where Sable Gothic and other typefaces and typographic experiments were displayed
