Sable Gothic is based on the proportions of Frederic Goudy’s Times Gothic (1916) specimen, reinterpreted with high-contrast alterations. This first cut includes a few additional looped characters. The gallery exhibition was part of an experimental type show, where Sable Gothic and other typefaces and typographic experiments were displayed.
